Jacobs Career Fair 2017 – International students look forward to professional contacts

On February 22, 2017, Jacobs University Bremen is inviting all interested companies to present themselves to its international students at the next Jacobs Career Fair.

The goal of the Career Fair, which has been held successfully since 2015, is to create a contact exchange for networking among graduates and students of all disciplines at Jacobs University and also with regional companies and global players. Students at all other Bremen universities are also cordially invited.
As in past years, the event will be conducted under the aegis of the President of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Harald Emigholz and will take place in the Campus Center of Jacobs University.

The Career Fair offers an important basis for generating contacts among students and companies. The exhibitors will have an opportunity from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. to present their company or institution as well as their offerings for entry level positions, internships, trainee programs, or research projects at the fair stands. In the accompanying program, companies can hold specific, additional presentations, and, for students, various workshops will be offered on career-related topics.
An informal networking reception following the fair enables exhibitors to have more in-depth discussions with professors, graduates, and representatives of other companies.

In 2015 and 2016, the Jacobs Career Fair had more than 1000 attendees (students) and over 30 exhibitors. Many talks led to the signing of agreements for internships and entry level positions. From the perspective of the exhibitor, an especially positive aspect is that the Fair offers an ideal opportunity to experience the Northern Bremen campus university, its international students, and the wide variety of their degree programs “up close and personal.” Companies get to participate in a direct interchange with talented, motivated, and curious young people from around the world.

Bremen companies as well as associations and institutions are cordially invited to take part as exhibitors at the Jacobs Career Fair 2017. Detailed information and the registration procedure can be found at www.jacobscareerfair.de
