Research Project: Public-Private Collaboration in China´s Innovative Rise: Effects and Mechanisms (DFG Research Grant, 2018-2020)

The project, which is organized by Tobias ten Brink together with Cornelia Storz (Goethe University Frankfurt), analyzes the forms and results of cooperation between the local government, public universities and research institutes as well as private firms and entrepreneurs. It particularly focuses on the development of “innovation platforms” (chuangxin pingtai) as spaces for the development of localized innovation networks.
