It is mandatory for everyone participating in the in-person Diploma Handout Ceremonies to take a corona antigen test a day prior to the event. The tests will be provided by the University and handed out together with the gowns on June 9th. Therefore, attending the gown distribution is mandatory.

Antigen tests will be distributed together with the gowns in the Campus Center Foyer on June 9th. Please follow the signs and comply with the hygiene and safety regulations on site.

There will be a separate station in the Campus Center at which you will receive your test kit and necessary forms:

• Corona rapid antigen test
  • You will have to sign a statement, confirming that you have received the test and that you understand that you will only be allowed to participate in the Graduation ceremony if you bring the Corona Negative Test Result Confirmation Form.
• Template: Corona Negative Test Result Confirmation Form
  • This is the same template that you signed for exams. It will be handed out to you and you have to bring it with you for your Diploma Handout Ceremony.
  • The filled in and signed form will be collected at the meeting point for your procession line-up

Most of you should be used to testing yourselves from exam period. If you are unsure, make sure to watch our instruction video on Instagram.

Please test yourself the day before the in-person Diploma Handout Ceremonies, and not earlier than 48 hours prior to scheduled ceremony.

If your antigen test is positive or invalid, you should do another rapid test. If this test is also positive, you must quarantine immediately and take a PCR test. Please inform healthinfo [at] jacobs-university.de and graduation [at] jacobs-university.de about the positive test result.
