Dance – dynamic and diverse

November 10, 2016

One time per year, Jacobs University celebrates the internationality and cultural diversity with dancing. This year, the event, called Dancestoned, will be held on November 19: Approximately 80 participants from more than ten nations will present a dynamic show featuring different styles of dance.

At the show, students of Jacobs University as well as local dancers and dance groups from Bremen show their talents. The variety of dance styles range from Hip Hop to Ballet and from Salsa to Modern Dance. They include traditional dances from China, India, Pakistan and Africa, too. Every dance tells its own, unique story.

The performance starts at 8 pm at the Theatre Space of Jacobs University; doors open at 7:30 pm. Duration of the show is approximately 1.5 hours. The entrance fee is 5 Euro per person. Tickets can be reserved online using the following link: http://bit.ly/tickets-dancestoned
