Of course, not only immediate neighbors are invited, but all people from the greater Bremen area, young or old, man or woman, family or single. Everybody is welcome to take a look at how the students and professors work, conduct research and live on campus. For children of all ages, a special program has been set up, including a bouncy castle. In addition to guided campus and laboratory tours, there will be live music and student art activities. In science talks, scientists will talk about how the inner couch potato can be overcome, explain the chemistry of chocolate and ask whether Bremen is an exemplary federal state in dealing with diversity.

"High school diploma - what now?” Many young people ask themselves this question. Gap Year, voluntary welfare work (FSJ) or Work & Travel? A workshop clarifies the terms and shows different possibilities. Another workshop deals with international study programs. What requirements do they place on high school graduates, how does the application process differ from the conventional German system? Experts from Jacobs University will address all these questions.
