Workshops for German High School Students
Jacobs University is happy to collaborate with the MIT Boston, the German initiative "MINT EC" and the "MINTforum Bremen". We organize workshops in STEM fields and beyond for high school students to encourage young talents to pursue a career in related areas.
At the end of January workshops in Physics and Chemistry are offered to high school students from the Bremen region taught by MIT and Jacobs students jointly. More information can be found on the MINTernational website.
At the last "MINT-EC Hauptstadtforum" in Berlin we offered a physics workshop ("Die Physik hinter dem Nobelpreis zur DNA Struktur") and a workshop in chemistry ("Supramolekulare Chemie in Wasser").
Please visit the MINT EC website for updates on upcoming projects.
Furthermore, we regularly participate in the German "Zukunftstag" ("Girls & Boys day").
In March 2019 we also participated at the first MINT Day Bremen and offered workshops for local high school students.
