Wellesley Pre-Med Abroad – fall semester

Every fall semester, Wellesley College pre-med students have the opportunity to study and live at Constructor University’ residential campus in Bremen, Germany.

The Pre-Med Abroad program includes the following special courses/programs:

  • Wellesley-taught CHEM 220/222
  • European Healthcare and Welfare (Syllabus)
  • A clinical practicum at the Nierenzentrum Ammerland
    • Instructor: Dr. med. Sibille Tröster
    • Maximum 8 spots available


Additionally, this semester abroad includes faculty-led trips to the following locations:

  • Berlin – to visit the Charité – Universitätsmedizin
  • Bremerhaven – to visit the AMEOS Klinikum St. Joseph
  • Geneva – to tour the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters
