Another reason to visit the capital city: after exhibitions at the Universum Bremen and the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, the interactive exhibition "EY ALTER - Find out about yourself" can now be seen until 19 January 2019 at the Gasometer in Berlin-Schöneberg. Heino Niederhausen, Head of Human Resources at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen, and Sven Voelpel, Professor of Business Administration at Jacobs University Bremen, came up with ideas for the entertaining and instructive discussion of aging.

Demographic change comes alive in an interactive, informative and personal way with this exhibition. 20 interactive stations require the full engagement of visitors. On the basis of five subject areas they experience what determines our thinking about old and young and how personal potentials can be brought into teams comprising of different generations. For example, visitors can perform an age check on their biological, social and perceived age.

The patron of EY ALTER is Michael Müller, Governing Mayor of Berlin, who opened the exhibition with a lecture. His predecessor Klaus Wowereit, who is one of the faces of the advertising campaign for the exhibition, joined the opening as well. The singer and actress Julia Engelmann performed as a poetry slammer at the opening. Sven Voelpel is also the author of the Spiegel bestseller "Entscheide selbst wie alt du bist ("Decide for yourself how old you are").
