The weekend of the 13th-15th April was a special one for our Admissions Team – they welcomed a group of twelve admitted students, from ten different countries, to campus for their first taste of life here at Jacobs University.
These ‘Tasties’ sat in on lectures and seminars, took part in student lead campus activities, were introduced to downtown Bremen, and got to experience staying on Schulschiff Deutschland! They even had lunch with members of faculty, getting to ask all their questions about our academic programs and unique study structure.
Some of the weekend’s planned activities – such as the outdoor Colors of South Asia event organized by our south Asian students – were disrupted by the weather, but even the rain did not stop our future Jacobians from seizing every opportunity to have a good time – as one Tastie put it, “it’s just Bremen giving us a proper welcome.”
